Bird house planter and Mini album bird

BIRD HOUSE PLANTER WITH MINI ALBUM

I made the bird house planter using Prima's Fairy Belle line of paper but I used the new Maja Summer Vintage line of paper for the bird mini album. Gorgeous paper. Be sure to check it out. The leaf ribbon is from May Arts, flowers are mostly from msgardengrove1's shop, Dusty attic chippies and 3tails crafts chippies, a bit of prima flowers and lots and lots of lace. You can find the planter at Etsy from Glenn. I have him listed under my faves so he should be easy to find if you're interested in this planter. The planter came already stained but I papered, painted and left some areas as they were. Loads of fun to alter.

 This bird shabby chic mini album was made with the maja vintage summer line of paper. It's the most beautiful paper EVER and a must have. Be sure to check it out. Marie sent me this line of paper and so much more from a blog win. Actually she sent me the summer vintage line from the kindness of her heart. The line of paper I won is totally different but just as gorgeous. How can it not be, it's Maja Paper. It's all gorgeous. Anyway, I wanted to make her something for her generosity so I put this album together for her by using the line of paper she sent me. Thank you so much Marie for such beautiful paper to play with. I apologize for the lighting on these pictures. The sun was setting and I was just a bit eager to download these pics since it took me quite awhile to finish the whole project.

Potted Plants Album

I love this potted plant album. Even I'm impressed with the way it turned out. I made an album in the shape of a potted plant and then set it down into a wheelbarrow that I also decorated. This was so much fun and I love the end project. Each page is blooming with flowers coming out of the top to give it the look of flowers down in a pot. There are pull out tags hidden everywhere and lots of area's for photo's. I will be selling this in my etsy shop if you're interested.

On the bottom photo you will pull out the little pot with the black lace to find it's a tag that opens for more photos. Also the top area where the flowers are attached is a pull out tag.

The below photo opens up for a trifold photo area and the bow pulls out to hold a tag for photo's or journalling.

That cute little flower pot below actually opens up to show four more flower pots to add photo's too on the front and back of each page.

Did you see all the adorable lady bugs on almost all of the pages. You just gotta have a few bugs crawling around inside your potted plant.  

Bird Cages with bird album

I got this idea of altering a bird cage and making a bird album to place down into the cage from Martica. She has made so many beautifully altered cages. The first one is a bit more springy with all the yellows and also a bit more dramatic. The second one is in it's pink colors and a little simpler and not so overly decorated.

 This is a nest (below) that's made out of lots of rafia, It's been twisted and twine together to make a nest. The bird album sits down onto this nest.

The pink altered cage is a bit more simple and sweet and instead of a bird nest for the album to sit down into, I made a soft pillow to nestle the bird album in.

Victorian Shoe and Hat

I made this mini Victorian Boot Album and Hat for a dear friend for her birthday. It is made up of images of Victorian women with victorian quotes thru out. The boot was made by 3tailscraft which there is a link on the right of my page if you're interested in it.
